Ammi visnaga Green Mist Laceflower
$3.29
Flower arrangers love Queen Anne's Lace. The filagree blooms are lovely in mixed bouquets, perfect for weddings, gorgeous alone in a vase and they last up to 10 days in water.
'Green Mist' is an Egyptian wildflower in the same family. It has longer stems, hardier blooms, and is lovely pale green. The statuesque blooms grow 4' tall. Large lacy fractal flowers appear from July to September. They're perfect for a dainty cottage garden, but are exotic enough to be grown alongside tropicals.
Extremely easy to grow, this delightful annual reseeds itself without getting weedy. It attracts beneficials and is a host plant for butterflies. It's as lovely in a cottage garden as it is in a meadow.
Scatter seeds in fall (or spring) where you want them to grow and barely cover. They don't transplant well, but grow easily from seed. They'll form larger, more robust plants from an autumn sowing.
