Phacelia campanularia - Desert Bluebells
$2.99
This sweet desert annual is bluer than blue. It grows wild in the Mohave Desert, blooming sheets of cobalt in spring and summer. Obviously it grows without fuss, but looks right at home in a country garden. It thrives in the spaces between pavers and looks perfect at the front of a flowerbed.
Desert Bluebells grow in clumps about 6" high. Grows quickly, blooms heavily, reseeds generously, disappears with first frost. You can enjoy this electric blue beauty in any zone from 3 to 10.
****** Optimal germination temperatures should be 50-55 degrees, direct sow right before the last spring frost, or cold stratify for 30 days in the fridge. *******
